Festival of Lights in Berlin

Each year Berlin is gleaming in colorful lights for two weeks. The sixth ‘Festival of Lights’ from the 13th to 24th of October attracted people from all over the world. Let me share a few impressions with you:

The ‘Gendarmenmarkt’, located between Französischer Strasse and Mohrenstrasse is one of the higlights with the ‘Deutscher Dom’, the ‘Französischer Dom’ and the ‘Konzerthaus Berlin’ shining in beautiful colors:

The main station is widely seen with ‘towers of light’ touching the sky:

In total more than 60 buildings, located in all parts of Berlin, appeared in colorful lights.
